Please join ZIP MKE for its first 2017 ZIP Walk & Talk!
Our Tippecanoe Library exhibit ends on March 20th (it moves to the Mill Road Library next), but before it does, we want to walk the neighborhoods of 53207, talk to and photograph residents, capture the unique character of the homes and scenery, then do what ZIP MKE is meant to do: engage with the community. That's YOU!
The Walk portion will begin at 10:30 am, when we'll meet at the Tippecanoe Library's Community Room to discuss walk protocol and goals. The exact route has yet to be determined, but we'll likely head north toward Humboldt Park and maybe even KK, then back through the neighborhood to the library. It will be approximately 3 miles and takebetween 60-90 minutes.
The Talk portion will include a light lunch and a serious but engaging conversation about Milwaukee, inspired by the photographs of course, led by Angela Van Dyke of Workshop Architects. We'll let you know the exact topic(s) as the date gets closer!
Invite your friends and family to what will prove to be a fun, inspiring, relaxing, informative, and relationship-building time. And don't forget your camera!
For questions, please contact Dominic Inouye at contact@zipmke.com.

In the event of inclement weather (rain, snow, or freezing temps), we will skip the Walk and go straight to the Talk, which is just as important!

Admission to the Walk & Talk is free, but donations are accepted at GoFundMe.com/ZIPMKE to help offset the costs of lunch, operating costs, future exhibits, and student incentives. 10% of all donations will go to the Milwaukee Public Library.
