Jeff Zimpel is an Artist, Educator, and Designer raised in Green Bay, WI. Jeff is artist-in-residence at Cardinal Stritch University, as well as an adjunct instructor in the art department. He is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he is pursuing his MFA in Art & Social Engagement. Jeff's artwork celebrates the vision of the people, places, and perspectives he discovers as he navigates life. Currently, he is inspired by two questions: “What Does Milwaukee Look Like?”, and “What Could Milwaukee Look Like?” These questions are the framework of Create Space MKE - an urban art collective that aims to stimulate the creative community through open dialogue, exhibition, social organizing, and community engagement.
